Here's where I get to tell you a little about myself. It's tough not having a publicist to write this stuff, but in all honesty I'd rather communicate with you directly anyway, plus it's not really publicity, just a little bio right? So here goes...

I was born on Tachikawa AFB, Tokyo, Japan in 1967. No, I'm not Japanese. My father was stationed at nearby Yokota AFB from 1966 to 1969, assigned to the 56th Weather Reconissance Squadron as an Avionics Technician. He repaired radios on WC-135 and RB-57 aircraft. My mother stayed home mostly but she did put in the study time to get her teachers certificate in Japanese flower arranging. She is a certificated Sensei of the Ikenobo School of Ikebana.

In 1970, when I was about 3, after my father had finished 12 years of active duty in the Air Force, we settled in Dover, New Jersey. During that time I became interested in drums. Our next door neighbor would set up his kit on his back porch during the summer and he'd play. I'd go over to watch, and one time he asked if I wanted to try my hand at it. Pretty soon I was taking regular lessons from him.

My father ended up buying the drum set for me. I never really thought about it too much, but sometimes I wondered why our neighbor sold his drums. At the same time I'm grateful that he did because it was my first real start in my life of music.

Later on my mom began taking my sister and I to piano lessons. I became interested in the guitar as well, and soon switched over completely. Then my parents made me decide: guitar or drums. I chose guitar and that has been my main instrument since.

My studio now has one or two of each of those instruments. I have a few guitars, a bass, a couple of keyboards kicking around, two of which belong to my bandmate John Frawley. I picked up a nice vintage Slingerland kit and refurbished it, tuned it up, and it will serve as the main source of drums for my next CD. The drums in No More Waiting are completely sequenced samples, so it will be a nice change to have the sound of a live drum kit on future songs.

Speaking of my bandmate John, here are a couple pictures of us. One from way back in our pub gig days, and another more recent shot taken at my place.

That's pretty much it. As for my life now, I live in North Jersey with my wife, three cats and a dog, and I'm hard at work writing and recording material for my new CD project which I plan to have finished by the middle of this year.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my music. Hope you enjoy it!
